National Wildflower Centre, Liverpool

Josie and I visited the above, just off Jct 5 of the M62 outside Liverpool on a lovely sunny day.

Here is their webpage full of information:  http://www.nwc.org.uk/

Apparently, each year they don't know what the displays will produce, as there are so many varieties, that the displays differ enormously year on year.

This year there are hardly any Poppies or Corncockles, but plenty of Cowslips, so the fields are mainly yellow.

The Visitor Centre is a long, low Brutalist building, but the wildflowers brighten it considerably!
