Another Autumn Walk

I took full advantage of the sunny day and went for a stroll round the fields near Fir Tree Farm in Rainford to find more Autumn colour.

Autumn colour and reflections on Wrightington Lakes

Having driven past these two lakes on numerous occasions, I recently spotted the Autumn colours reflected in the waters, so parked at St Joseph's Church and walked to the road bridge to take a few images.
The water wasn't quite still enough for glass-like reflections, but the colours were rich, and I took some B/W images into the low sunlight too!

Colour, Line and Form

I spent a very enjoyable afternoon at MediaCity, Salford, togging with my lovely sister.

As it was drizzly and breezy, we spent some time inside the Lowry Theatre, which attacks the senses with its colours, angles and shapes, so put on your sunglasses for looking at these images!!

Autumn Canal Colour

I also took some colour images while out for my canal walk this morning.

Black and White Blustery Skies

I went to Scotmans Flash next to the Leeds/Liverpool Canal in Poolstock this morning, as a strong breeze was blowing the rolling clouds through big bright skies.

Using my Fuji X-T1 with the wide 12mm Samyang manual lens to capture these big scenes, I decided to shoot only Black and White to capture contrasts rather than colours.

Late Autumn Sun and Colour

Josie and I enjoyed a pleasantly warm and sunny morning walking the well-kept paths of Cuerden Valley Park near Chorley, to capture the Autumnal colours in the trees and foliage.
