Wigan Flashes Nature Reserve

The area stretching from Hawkley and Poolstock from the canal out towards Ince and Spring View through the Flashes is a riot of Summer colour at the moment, thanks to rain, sunshine and good management by The Woodland Trust and Wigan's Greenheart nature teams.

London Visit In May

I stayed with my lovely sister for a few days, with a varied and interesting itinerary around the lesser-known areas of the City.

First up are some images from a newly-built business/social area called Broadgate Circle.

I've seen images with the giant 5 online, so wanted to find and photograph the area myself.
London inspires amazing architecture!!

 The following images were taken with an Infra-Red converted camera with a 'Goldie' filter.

These next two images are from the back of Liverpool Street Station where ultra-modern steel meets  Victorian brick, iron and glass!
