A couple of hours around the Flashes at Poolstock with a new lens, the Fuji 90mm prime.
As the pale Sun began to fall in the sky, the milky mists rose from the waters to greet it.

London Night Lights
As the daylight fades away throughout the City, the dazzling lights come into play.
Here are a selection of City images, some taken from ground level at my favourite viewpoint, the Millennium Bridge, and others from the superb viewpoint that is the Sky Garden atop the Walkie-Talkie on Fenchurch Street, between the high-rise City buildings and the River Thames.
Fuji XH1, Fuji 10-24mm, 18-55mm and 55-200mm lenses.

Black and White Photography in the City of London.
I was delighted to attend this Course in London recently with my wonderful sister who had arranged for us both to be tutored, in a small group of 12 fellow enthusiasts, by two Light and Land Photographers.

Paul Sanders is a Fuji X Ambassador and Adrian Beesley is a Digital Workshop and Print Specialist.
The morning was very wet, providing us with extra challenges but also greater opportunities to use wet shiny streets and darker skies to capture both Street and Architecture images, two of my favourite subjects!

Here are the results of our morning's shooting and afternoon's processing.

Scotmans Flash, Early Riser!
Since the bright dawn woke me about 6am, I decided not to roll over for an extra hour, and went off to one of my regular areas, Scotmans Flash and the Leigh Branch of the Leeds/Liverpool Canal in Poolstock to see how the light was falling and what the wildlife was up to!
