Canal at Arley

We had a stroll from Bridge 63 at Red Rock to Bridge 64 at Arley Hall on the Leeds/Liverpool Canal, saw loads of flora and fauna, including a Kingfisher (but didn't get a photo!).

It's a lovely stretch of the canal with open fields, wooded areas, a steep valley and interesting buildings in a very short stroll.

When Words Aren't Enough....

On Monday evening I packed a bag of equipment, put it over my shoulder and went out with a purpose……to take innocent images of a wonderful world and share my peaceful ideals with anyone wanting to see the beauty of this world.

At the same time, another man set out with his bag, equipment and purpose……to take innocent lives of wonderful people and share his hostile ideals with anyone wanting to see the cruelty of this world.

The Light Will Always Shine Through......

Ullswater Views

I visited the Cumbria Photography Show at the Rheged Centre near Penrith on Sunday May 14th, and inspired by the images on show, I travelled down to Ullswater to see if I could capture my own images of a small part of the Lake District.
I'd brought my Fuji XT2 with 10-24mm and 55-200mm lenses along with my new tripod just in case!

Crosby Beach Sunset

I took advantage of a gloriously clear Spring Sunset to take some more images of Antony Gormley's 'Another Place' installation on the beach at Crosby.
The added feature was an almost full Moon rising opposite the setting Sun!
