Where The Light Falls

Where The Light Falls


I found a wonderful old wood today, very close to home, that I had no idea existed until I found it on this site:


It is on the Eastern side of Billinge Hill, so the Sun disappears very quickly from its slopes, but I was in time to capture some good patches of sunlight breaking through the dwindling canopy as Autumn approaches.

I just used my 18mm lens on my Fuji X-T1, and deliberately under-exposed the images in order to capture the brighter areas only, as my title suggests.
